My name is Veera and i am from Finland. I am so grateful that i can spend my exchange year with you. Why i chose to come to New Zealand is that i have always dreamed to visit there. See the New Zealand nature and in addition the land itself. Therefore i decided to spend my exchange year in New Zealand.
And now i am going to tell you something about me and my family. :)
In my family there are me, my big sister Rosa, my mom, dad and two cats. Our cats names are Leidi and Pulla. My mom is a doctor and my father is a music teacher. My sister is twenty so she is studying to become a teacher. I have very good relationship with my sister and quite good relationship with my mother and father. My sister is the one who i can trust and who is always with me. Even then when i have had a fight or misunderstood with my parents. I care about very much my parents but sometimes they are just simply making me crazy.
So i have only one sister. And for that reason it is going to be a very huge change in my life when i am coming to New Zealand. I am going to have three brothers, two sisters and two dogs in my life and that is a huge change compered to my life in Finland. For this reason i am very exited to find out how my life is going to change in contrast to my old life.
What i like to do in my free time is playing the violin, listening to music and going jogging or doing something other exercise. I am going to take my violin with me when i am going on abroad so i can join there some kind of orchestra. I also checked that there are lots of different kind of sports for example rugby and paddling. I am really interested to try those sports.
Something about my language skills:
My language skills are actually quite good in spite of that sometimes i may have a problem speaking english if there are lots of words what i don't quite understand. And sometimes i may have a problem with grammar if i have to write some kind of assignments or something like that. Despite the fact that i sometimes may have a problem with english i am luckily capable of joining the school which is great. On the other hand when i start to speak english everyday i will become more certain of my english skills.
The future and what i am doing then means me much. I am very ambitious person and i like to plan things before i do anything. I am not quite sure yet what i want to do in the future and my life then but on the other hand when i figured that what i want to do nothing is going stop me for getting what i want. Thats why school means me much. I try my best and therefore i work hard in school since i know that this moment in my life can change many things on my future. Thats why i want to try and do my best in school works.
